The Library Reading Rooms are open:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:30am to 5:00pm
The 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The State Library’s offices are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday except for state holidays (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and every four years on the Inauguration Day of the Pennsylvania Governor).
The State Library is located in the Forum Building, Commonwealth Avenue and Walnut Street, Harrisburg. The main entrance is on South Drive facing Soldiers' Grove behind the State Capitol.

There are several free visitor spaces on South Drive near the main library entrance. Metered spaces are available on Walnut Street. See the Harrisburg Parking Authority website for parking garages within walking distance.
The Library is accessible for individuals with disabilities through the main entrance. Any individuals needing further assistance should contact library staff.
