On November 6-8, 2013, the 22nd Annual Conference on Integrated Learning: The School-To-Career Connection will be conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Bureau of Career and Technical Education. The conference will take place at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, State College, Pennsylvania. It is anticipated that more than 700 conferees will be in attendance.
Join this conference to share and learn outstanding instructional techniques, best practices in career development and counseling, instructional methodologies, workforce development/education partnerships, and the use of data in decision making, effective assessment, and other approaches currently in use throughout the Commonwealth designed to help meet the goals of Perkins IV, No Child Left Behind, and Pennsylvania academic standards and assessment requirements in Chapter 4. The goal of the conference is to provide conferees concurrent sessions that will share strategies and programs that prepare students for postsecondary education and careers in the global economy of the 21st century, enabling students to be highly skilled, better prepared, and more innovative than ever before upon graduating from high school.
Three pre-conference workshops and several strands will be offered this year. We are sure you and your colleagues will find this conference to be informative and exciting.
