Advisory Commission on Post Secondary Education
When Gov. Tom Corbett unveiled his proposed 2012-13 budget in February, he issued an executive order creating the Advisory Commission on Postsecondary Education.
The purpose of the Commission is to make recommendations related to the establishment and maintenance of a robust and responsive postsecondary education system in the Commonwealth for the 21st century to serve the students and citizens of the commonwealth.
The Commission consists of 31 members who represent various interests associated with postsecondary education in Pennsylvania.
This website was created to provide information about the Commission’s work, as well as serve as a resource for the citizens of Pennsylvania.

Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett's Commission Works to Reshape State's Postsecondary Education System
On May 21, Rob Wonderling, chairman of the Advisory Commission for Postsecondary Education, appeared on the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) to discuss the focus of the commission. In February, Gov. Corbett announced the formation of a panel to make recommendations on how postsecondary education can better serve Pennsylvanians.
