School Construction and Facilities
Section 7-731 of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, requires Department of Education approval of plans and specifications for all public school construction or reconstruction, and for ordinary repairs or maintenance work of a value greater than $15,000 for any second, third or fourth class district.

School Library Services
Pennsylvania's school libraries provide students with opportunities to become critical seekers of knowledge, users of technology, and independent life-long learners in the global society of the Information Age. School library information professionals provide instruction in information management and retrieval skills at all levels, primary through high school. Veteran’s Education
The Division of Veterans/Military Education is the State Approving Agency for Pennsylvania. In order for a veteran, reservist or dependent to use their GI Bill Benefits the program must be approved by the State Approving Agency.
