A new feature checks incomplete application requirements to make sure they are current. If a requirement changed, you will be notified and directed to begin a new application. The requirement summary, as a result, will be current when you submit your application.
Effective Sept. 1, 2013, SAT and ACT scores may be used to meet the basic skills test requirement for certification.

TIMS Frequently Asked Questions - TIMS uses a help desk support system for the convenience of all users. Please submit ALL questions through the help desk support system. You can access the system through the Help & Support link located in the upper right hand corner of all education website pages. Response time is usually within two business days. Please provide detailed information for better results.
Certification/TIMS Call Center hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The call center staff is prepared to provide support to the Commonwealth's educational community regarding teacher certification and staffing issues. You can reach the call center at 717-PA TEACH (728-3224).
If you are having a technical problem with your login id or basic permission issues, please call 888-498-8129. For local Harrisburg area users, call 717-506-2317. The technical staff provide support for issues related to passwords, creating new accounts, user ids or issues relating to your profile information within the portal account. This help desk is available from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Saturday. NO SUNDAY or HOLIDAY HOURS.
Remember to wait at least 30 minutes before using a new password sent to you via the Forgot Password help option.
