The Pennsylvania Governor’s Institute and Academies for Educators are part of a series of professional education programs and resources designed to insure the creation of challenging learning environments to promote educational success for students in the Commonwealth.
Villanova University will host the 2008 Governor's Institute for World Language Educators from July 20, 2008 through July 25, 2008. This year the Institute will have an enhanced/perfected third year theme for 2008 "Assessment in Light of the Pennsylvania Academic Standards for World Languages/Classical Languages and the National Standards for Foreign Languages".
Therefore, past participants from years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 may apply. 2006's or 2007's participants may not apply. All applications must be submitted electronically. For previous year institute overviews click on this link
